His latest book is a 30×30 homage to the great work produced by the company presented through the minds of a range of amazing artists. It doesn’t end there. David himself has a style that captured our eye and made us fall in love with his work. (Even though he isn’t a fan of “style”).
As we move into yet another year, it’s always fun to analyse what design trends may carry over and expand, or which ones that we haven’t seen for awhile may return. Keeping in mind that we have no crystal ball, let’s consider this an educated guess. As we progress, originality seems harder to come by so the tweaking of old trends seems like the safest bet. We’re always open to being surprised, however.
Ricky has worked with some huge clients but no matter the size has always brought his clean and stylish approach to the work. What we loved the most about him, however, was his insistence in encouraging the community and culture in design.
You have to feel a little bit sorry for the music industry. Few others can say they have been hit by as much change as it has in recent years. In the span of just one generation, we have gone from buying music on vinyl to streaming it via a range of devices. It’s not only music consumption, but also the way that labels and bands try to reach listeners that have changed dramatically.
Lisa’s illustrations not only grab your eye straight away, they also have a playful nostalgia about them. They remind us of the beautiful and colourful books we would read as children whilst also managing to include a modern flair through their individuality.
